VERONA, Miss  (WTVA) - An overnight brush fire just off Highway 45 in Verona destroys several acres.
What started out as one small fire quickly became several fires because of the wind and several homes were at risk.
The initial call came in just before midnight.
Several fire departments fought the blaze for about an hour and a half.
