WEST VARDAMAN, Miss. (WTVA) - Emergency responders in Calhoun County rescued a Vardaman man from a grain bin Monday.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says the man entered the bin because something wasn't working properly but got stuck with the corn at one point getting as high as his chest.

Emergency responders in Calhoun County came to the grain bin located on Highway 8 just two miles west of Vardaman to assist with the rescue.

It took two hours for Chickenbone volunteer firefighters to rescue the man through a tube.

He walked away with no injuries.
