UPDATE: Missing Vardaman man found safe

Calhoun County law enforcement said Friday morning that Lonnie Wade Bevill was found safe in Arizona.

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan confirmed Friday morning Lonnie Wade Bevill, 37, was found safe in Maricopa County, Arizona. 

Sheriff Pollan said a police officer found Bevill waiting for a Quick Stop to open.

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Law enforcement agencies in three counties are looking for help to locate a missing Vardaman man. 

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says Lonnie Wade Bevill, 37, was last seen Sunday afternoon. 

He says an acquaintance dropped Bevill off at Smokies truck stop on Highway 45 Alternate near Okolona in Monroe County.  

Bevill was last seen walking toward Tupelo. 

Pollan says Lee County and Monroe County officers are working with the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department to try and locate the man.
