UPDATE: Surveillance video released of Columbus armed robbery

Columbus police seek the public's help in finding a man accused of robbing an Exxon gas station.

UPDATE 01/26/18: Columbus police continue to search for the man accused of robbing a Columbus gas station at gunpoint. On Friday, police released surveillance video of the incident.

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Columbus police are looking for a man accused of entering a gas station armed with a gun and demanding money. 

The incident happened Tuesday night at the Exxon gas station off Main Street. 

The suspect is described as a short, thin, black man wearing a pink shirt, black pants and black shoes. 

He was last seen leaving the gas station, heading south.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at (800) 530-7151.
