Blue Mountain police search for recycle bin thieves

Two dumpsters, two thieves caught on camera for two hours.

BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Blue Mountain Police Department is searching for a man and a woman who were caught on camera stealing scrap from two recycle bins at the Dirt Cheap warehouse.

The two were shown stealing from the huge dumpsters for more than two hours.

Chief Jim Taylor says it's an ongoing problem that the town has been facing.

"This is the second time in about two months this has happened," Taylor replied.

The chief says anyone who knows who these people are and where they can be found should contact the Blue Mountain Police Department.

UPDATE:

BLUE MOUNTAIN,Miss(WTVA)--Three people are arrested in connection with the crime.

They are Stacey  Robinson, Charles Huddleston, and Caitlin Holley.

All three are from Tippah County according to Blue Mountain Police Chief Jim Taylor.

Taylor says more charges could be forthcoming as they continue to investigate how much was taken from the recycle bins.
