10 arrested in Monroe County drug roundup

Ten people were arrested during the night on drug-related charges in Monroe County.

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Ten people were arrested during the night on drug-related charges in Monroe County. 

Monroe County Cecil Cantrell says all 10 were arrested at one house in Amory on Highway 371.

Officers found drugs, guns, knives, money and drug paraphernalia. 

According to Cantrell, these arrests stem from several parental complaints about children supposedly buying drugs from the location.

The following people were arrested.  

  1. Kimberly Clark, 40, of Tupelo  

  1. Donny Johnson, 67, of Nettleton   

  1. Samuel Johnson, 28, of Nettleton  

  1. Brittany Jordan, 27, of New Albany 

  1. Shane Ledlow, 29, of Amory 

  1. Danny McMurry 

  1. Bobby Mitchell, 20, of Amory 

  1. Jera Nash, 25, of Nettleton 

  1. Steven Phillips, 37, of Amory 

  1. Harriet Randall, 40, of Tupelo  

All are charged with possession of a controlled substance, except for Donny Johnson. He's charged with trafficking of a controlled substance. 

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Johnson was out of jail on two seperate bond's. 

Johnson's third bond is set at $20,000.
