Car flips in Columbus, driver okay

A driver is said to be okay, but is facing traffic violations, following a scary wreck Monday afternoon.

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - A driver is said to be okay, but is facing traffic violations, following a scary wreck Monday afternoon.

The wreck happened near noon on John Hancock Road in Columbus.

Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton says a driver was traveling at a high-rate of speed, when the driver's vehicle struck a parked vehicle, causing the driver's vehicle to flip.

Shelton says the driver appears to be okay.
