OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - A Pontotoc woman is accused of running out of Oxford's Walmart after not scanning more than $2,000 worth of goods.

On Thursday, April 12, Oxford police arrested 42-year-old Tina Hillman on the felony charge of false pretense.

She's accused of entering the Oxford Walmart on February 28 and not scanning $2,191.53 worth of merchandise. Oxford police say she was confronted by the store's personnel, but then ran out of the store and fled the scene.

The next day on March 1, Pontotoc investigators called Oxford police and stated they had Hillman in the Pontotoc County jail following her arrest at the Pontotoc Walmart.

She has since been transported from the Pontotoc County jail to the Lafayette County jail.

Her bond was set in Oxford at $2,500.
