According to the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Department, the tractor was stolen earlier this year from southern Tishomingo County, near the Prentiss County line.

The owner of the tractor provided surveillance photos showing the alleged suspects on the owner's property taking the equipment.

Prentiss County investigators were able to locate one of the suspects. Weeks later, another suspect surrendered to officers after an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest.

The following were arrested and charged in the case:

Mark Anthony Michael, 43, of Rienzi - charged with grand larceny. His bond was set at $1,500.

Dustin Tyler King, 29, of Booneville - charged with conspiracy to commit a crime (grand larceny). His bond was set at $1,500.

The equipment was recovered by both Tishomingo County and Prentiss County investigators approximately 200 miles south of Iuka.

Tishomingo County Sheriff John Daugherty says investigators still have an active warrant for another person believed to be involved in the crime. That person's name was not released.

More arrests are pending.
