UPDATE: How a mother abducted three children

Police in Aberdeen reveal new information about what happened that led to a Missing/Endangered Child Alert.

Aberdeen police said Ashli Brown, the woman who took the three children, used her baby to distract the grandparents.

"The grandmother, who is the foster mom, decided to let them go outside to the car, just to see the new baby," Lieutenant Quinell Shumpert explained. "She had stepped back inside for a minute, came out and they were gone."

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - State law enforcement has issued a Missing/Endangered Child Alert for three children from Aberdeen.

Two of them are boys: Jachin Graham, 3, and Nasir Brown, 4. Niyeema Prigeon, 6, is a girl.  

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation says the three were abducted from their home in the 400 block of Columbus Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

According to MBI, it's believed the children were taken by Ashli Brown, 27.  She stands 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.  

All four may be in a black Chevrolet Impala with a Florida license plate and may be heading to Florida.
