HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) - An unoccupied motel was destroyed in a Saturday morning fire in Houston.

Fire Chief Jonathan Blankenship says no one was staying at the motel at the time of the fire because of a water issue earlier this week.

Blankenship says he doesn't know what caused the fire but it is believed to have started in the office area.

No injuries were reported.
