Wayne has been an employee of WTVA since 1982.  During his tenure he's done everything from operate floor cameras to anchor the weekend news.

After leaving the business, Wayne returned in 1998 as a reporter/photographer.  He graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.A. in Communications in 1981.

"I've always enjoyed meeting the people and doing something different every day," says the Tupelo native.  "In this business there's never a dull moment—I like that."

Wayne has been married to his wife Pauline since 1985.  He has a daughter, Stephanie, and a son, David.

His favorite pasttimes are listening to music and playing guitar.  He also enjoys sports, naming his favorite teams as the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Cubs, and the Tennessee Titans.  His favorite quote is, "You can't hoot with the owls, and soar with the eagles."
