Man In Custody After Shooting Near Sherman
Officials say a man was shot in the back of the head with a shotgun by another man.

Susan Parker is the former Susan Grantham. Her parents are Roy and Nell Grantham. Her sisters are Sandy Flatt and Kathy Grantham.
Susan is from Lowndes county where she attended New Hope School. While in high school, she was selected as a Who's Who Among American High School Students.
After graduation she attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. There she was selected as a Who's Who Among American College Students. Susan was a member of the campus newspaper staff.
Her next stop was Mississippi State University. One year later Susan attended Mississippi University for Women where she majored in Journalism. While at M.U.W. she was a member of the newspaper staff, a college radio announcer, and an intern at WCBI television.
She began her career as a stringer for a weekly newspaper in Dothan, Alabama. From there she worked as a reporter at WESP radio. While there she won an award from United Press International for one of her stories she wrote. Her next job was at WHER radio in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. There she anchored six daily newscasts and fulfilled reporting duties.
In 1990, Susan began working at a television cable outlet for Love Communications where she anchored news and reported stories. From there she went to West Point to anchor news for WLOV television.
In 1992 Susan began working at WTVA Television. While at WTVA she has won a number of awards from the Associated Press, including first place in General News and first place in photography.
Susan and her husband Dale have six cats and a dog. (They are all strays, of course.) Both Dale and Susan enjoy the outdoors—he hunts and she gardens.
