Sunya is happy to be back in the south!  Born and raised in Chicago, Sunya decided to attend Rust College.  Her father was born in Holly Springs, but moved to Chicago in the 1960's.  Sunya's mother is from Ecru.

Sunya most recently worked for the Independent News Network in Davenport, Iowa.  There, she anchored and produced shows for client stations in Detroit, Michigan; Huntsville, Alabama; and Columbus, Georgia.

Before that, Sunya was the main anchor and producer for WABG-TV in Greenville, Mississippi.  She also worked as a newspaper reporter in Chicago and radio news anchor in Memphis.

Sunya is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.  When she isn't busy, she enjoys watching "Mad Men", the Biography Channel, and a few reality shows.  If you have any story ideas, send Sunya an e-mail.  She appreciates feedback from viewers.
