Jim Holder

After spending almost a year in the financial investments business, Jim Holder returned to WTVA in December 2008. He previously spent ten years in the WTVA Sports department, where he began as a reporter and eventually became a weekday anchor.
Jim has co-hosted the football shows
Friday Night Fever
and
First Down on FOX
, and has been honored by the Associated Press for Best Sports Reporting.
Before arriving at WTVA in 1998, Jim was the sports director at WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee. He is a 1993 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.
Jim and his wife, Nan, were married in 2002 and reside in Tupelo.
