Meet The News Team
Allie Ware
Allie Ware
Reporter
aware@wtva.com
Allie joined the WTVA News team in August of 2011. She has been a Mississippi girl all of her life, and is excited to start her career as reporter in her home state.
Allie's love for journalism started in high school where she did the morning announcements at South Panola. While attending college at the University of Mississippi Allie reported for News Watch, the University's news channel, and was also a producer for Ole Miss's SEC sports show the SportsWhip. She interned at FOX 13 in Memphis, and also here in Tupelo at WTVA.
She graduated in May of 2011 with a bachelors of Broadcast Journalism with minors in History and English. After graduation she happily accepted a job at WTVA.
When not reporting Allie enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her beloved Ole Miss football team, and meeting new people in the community.
