Full-Time Master Control Operator
Brief Description:
Candidate will be required to operate master control, audio, camera, and/or character generator for news programs and news updates.  Will assist with commercial or promotion production when requested.  Must be familiar with various methods of receiving syndicated programming and be able to take feeds with little advance notice.  May be asked to assist with remote productions, special projects, or studio tapings as needed.  Will input commercials, promos, and other programming into broadcast servers for playback.  May be required to work nights and weekends as required.  May be asked to assist with remote productions, special projects, or studio tapings as needed.

Minimum Requirements
  High school diploma or GED

Brief Description:
WTVA Inc. has an immediate opening for an reporter.  The ideal candidate will be able to create compelling stories, by writing creative narration and shooting and editing their own video.  The candidate must be well-versed in Internet and mobile reporting methods.  Candidate may be required to produce and anchor newscasts, or serve as fill-in anchor as necessary.  Must be experienced and have a viewer-friendly personality, with at least two years' experience reporting and serving as fill-in anchor preferred.

Minimum Requirements
  Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field.  Related experience may be evaluated by station management and substituted for educational requirement.
  Strong computer skills, with nonlinear video editing experience using Sony Vegas Pro a plus.

Editor/Producer
Brief Description:
Candidate will edit commercials and other video projects by gathering and editing various SD and HD video formats, graphics, and audio files using both Apple and Microsoft platforms; shoot commercials, promotions, and programs on location and in studio using production cameras microphones, and lighting; and provide additional creative duties such as copy writing and client consultation.

Minimum Requirements
  Four-year college degree.  Related experience may be evaluated by station management and substituted for educational requirement.
  At least two years of experience working as an editor/videographer in a commercial or public television station or production company.
  Strong computer skills, including familiar with nonlinear editing systems, graphics software, e-mail, and Web sites.

Entry-Level Account Executive
Brief Description:
Candidate will be responsible for generating revenue by selling broadcast, online, and mobile advertising to both existing and new clients, with emphasis on cultivating new business from the local community.  Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately with names, numbers, codes, and symbols.  Position requires effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office required, as well as the ability to learn new systems.  Familiarity with Facebook and Twitter marketing preferred.

Minimum Requirements
  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related field.  Related experience may be evaluated by station management and substituted for educational requirement.
  Minimum of one year of experience in media sales or related field.
  Reliable access to personal transportation.
  Valid driver's license.
  Basic computer skills.
