  • Christmas Items Needed!-Read Here

With Christmas fast approaching and poverty levels at their highest in over a decade, so many senior adults are struggling each month just to pay their normal monthly bills. There is not enough left over to purchase items that they so desperately need. In May 2009, Comfort Keepers sponsored Sunshine for Seniors. Through this project, over 175 laundry baskets filled with goodies were distributed throughout Northeast MS. The recipients were so grateful and overjoyed, that we would like to once again help to bless them during this Christmas season. Comfort Keepers, a local business owned by Wanda and Larry Todd, located at 161 Clark Street Suite 3, Tupelo, MS provides caregivers to senior adults in Lee and surrounding counties. Each day our care givers go out to the homes of senior adults to provide them with housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and personal care. Our caregivers see this need on a daily basis. Christmas Spirit for Seniors, sponsored by Comfort Keepers, wants to meet the needs of our senior adults by providing much needed help and assistance in the following counties: Lee, Itawamba, Monroe, Pontotoc, Union, Alcorn, Benton, Marshall, Prentiss, Tippah, and Tishomingo.
